Star Players!

My mom is so important to me, because I watched how hard she worked to take care of my brother, sister, and me. She should me that hard work is not just for the boys. She worked two jobs just to make sure we had nice things. I would get up a 7am wouldn’t see my mom until 10 pm at night. She made it be known that nothing comes easy. My mom is tougher than most dudes I know, and that is what she passed down to us. Not to say that my dad wasn’t there, but having us on the weekends just didn’t amount to what my mom did.
My grandmother passed in 2007, and I still live the way she would have wanted to see me live. She thought me to control my temper, because I use to lash out very violently. She showed me how to control that part of me. She also preached the importance of education. She always told me to learn as much as I can; no matter what it is I’m learning. She played the role of the mediator for the family. I try to do that, but my temper for my family is short.
My third person is a new friend I met 2 years ago. He is a retired military vet. I needed the guidance and advice of someone older. He did and is doing well for himself. He is like my mentor in a lot of ways. He has financial stability, and knowledge of things most people have to learn. I go to him with a lot of my problems. We met in California, but we have family staying in the same small town. It’s good to have people around like him. I have a lot of people I learned from but these three mean a lot to me.
